Job Title: Jr. Design Engineer (W2 contractor only)

Location: North Jersey

Compensation: $25/hr (no benefits)

Duration: up to 1 year or more

Short Description:

Design / Engineering / Manufacturing / Automation Firm based in North Jersey is seeking a part-time W2 only contractor to work as a Jr. Design Engineer at our large NJ based medical device client, on-site at their North Jersey location. Engineering College degree required (or working towards one), excellent Solidworks ability, with Pro/E Creo a plus. Please note a competency test will be given for each applicant considered.

Job Responsibilities:

Jr. Design Engineer will work with our client as an on-site consultant to perform:

Mechanism Design
Design for Manufacturing
Risk Assessment Design
Items 1-3 using 3D CAD modeling SolidWorks software (knowledge of, experience with and ability of Pro/E Creo a plus)

Required Competencies:

College Degree in Engineering (or working towards one)
Local candidates preferred
Willingness to work part-time (up to 20 hrs /week) and open to work up to 40 hrs. if required by client
Some experience in design with Solidworks
Ok to be tested at our firm on Solidworks skills and engineering skills
Able to work a duration of up to one year or more
